ABOUT ME...

After leaving university I took the position of Concerts Manager for English Sinfonia, later moving to a similar position with the Orchestra of St John’s Smith Square in London.

I’ve been teaching piano and brass for 25 years, to students of all ages and a wide range of abilities.

Since 2010 I’ve organised an annual brass festival with players travelling from all over the UK and some from Europe to play for a panel of judges including professors at top London music colleges.

For 25 years I’ve been organising charity concerts where my students have learned the thrill of playing for a live audience. As well as raising a lot of money for the charities, it’s given them a taste for performance. Since the lockdowns of 2020 took their grip I’ve been migrating concerts to an online format and as an online student you’ll have the chance to play in these.
